Jetstream of Houston, LLP (a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation), manufactures high pressure waterblast equipment and accessories for commercial and industrial cleaning and maintenance operations.  In addition to equipment sales, we are increasingly engaged in the sale of parts and tooling, service and repair, equipment rentals, vehicle refurbishment and training as part of a complete offering to our customer base.

We are currently seeking additional CNC Machinists, on 2nd Shift (Hours: 4:30pm – 3am, Monday through Friday) for our facility in Houston, TX – these positions are immediately available.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

• Must have work experience with both Horizontal and Vertical Mills, and CNC Lathes.
• Understand blueprints.
• Identify problems with materials or blueprints.
• Knowledge of measuring devices associated with machining.
• Make edits to programs on CNC equipment.
• Capable of setting up and operating CNC machining center.

EXPERIENCE RUNNING:

• Toyoda FA Series.
• Toyoda VM Series.
• Fanuc Control.
• 5 to 10 years of CNC experience.

QUALITY:

• Responsible for the quality of work.
• Follow process control instructions, including blueprints, first piece inspection and use of appropriate tooling and gauging as well as accurate documentation of work activities.

INITIATIVE:

• Suggest and implement improvements.
• Follow up on details.
• Seek out productive work when assignments are completed.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall performance of Jetstream.
